A Wonderful Book About the Giant SequoiaThis is a Wonderful book about a giant Sequoia Tree in California. The book is beautifully illustrated and tells of the beginning of life from a small seed, to the over 2000 years of life the giant tree must endure. From a small seed taking life, a "Time Line of World History" is also displayed along the bottom of each page. We found this book originally in a bookstore at the Sequoia National Park Visitors in California. Although this book is intented for younger children, it has an underlying message for adults. My children, and my family enjoy reading this short story over and over again.

Tuolumne Meadows Rock Climbs

Average review score:

ExcellentAn excellent guide to Tuolumne Meadows. Everything you want to know is here. I was a little concerned glancing through the guide when everything was rated PG or above till I realized that the guide doesn't use the G rating. I guess PG stands for 'pretty good.'

Unity Temple : Frank Lloyd Wright and Architecture for Liberal Religion
Published in Hardcover by Cambridge University Press (April, 1996)
Average review score:

A National TreasureUnity Temple is a National Treasure and it is treated as such by Mr. Siry. His research is unrivlaed in Wright circles and his writing is clear and concise. All aspects of the design and execution are included and discussed in a complete manner.
One only wishes that there were more, large color photographs to parallel the excellent writing. Would there be a second eiition with them? If one is really interested in the subject and not just the images, this is the book for you.

Universal Studios Florida: A Great Day at the Movies
Published in Paperback by Passport Books (July, 1995)
Average review score:

Great Resource for Universal StudiosI have used this book in the past and found it to be a wonderful resource. The gentleman who wrote the book used to work there and it is filled with fantastic tips on which rides to go on first etc. The only problem with this book is that it does not include Islands of Adventure. Since I am hoping to go there again I looked to see if he had written an update, unfortunately that was not the case. However, if you plan to skip Islands of Adventure this is THE book to own.

attended this school should own this book - it will bring back
fond memories. I hope we can look for more volumes on
other schools.

The Unofficial Guide to the Best RV and Tent Campgrounds in the Northwest & Central Plains, First Edition
Published in Paperback by John Wiley & Sons (March, 2002)
Average review score:

Frommers Unofficial Guide to the Best Rv and Tent CampgroundThis guide book is so much better than Trailer Life or Woodall's.
The campground inspections were done without the owner's knowledge and there is no advertising. You want the best camp site, and with this book, you can skip all the ads and biased write-ups
and go right to the best campground. The information given for
each campground is much more complete and easy to read, unlike
the other campground directories.

The book shows all campgrounds in each section of road traveled and also describes activities that are available in the area. It is informative and clearly written with excellent directions for locating attractions. Though I have not been to Alaska yet, I did show this book to fellow travelers who have used the Milepost and it was met with enthusiastic response.
